About SIGNAL
What Is SIGNAL?
SIGNAL is a participation platform built around what you want to do, join, create, and experience. It is designed around participation rather than an endless social feed.
What Is A Pulse?
Your Pulse is a lightweight way to communicate how you are showing up right now. It helps you express your current energy, availability, or interest without requiring a public post.
What Are Sessions?
Sessions are activities and experiences that members can host or join. They are designed to help you find something you can actually participate in rather than simply scroll past.
What Are Circles, Creator Commons, And Fifth Realm?
Circles organize community around shared interests. Creator Commons surfaces opportunities to create and contribute. Fifth Realm is home to campaigns, tabletop play, and other immersive experiences.
What Is Passport?
Passport is your private participation record inside SIGNAL. Verified activity can build your history, progress, and stamps over time.
The Five Fifths eHub
What Is The Five Fifths eHub?
The Five Fifths eHub is a planned physical ecosystem for gaming, esports, content creation, technology, community, work, events, and shared experiences.
Is The eHub Open Yet?
No. The eHub is still in development. Information on SIGNAL describes the planned experience and may evolve as development continues.
What Will Be Inside The eHub?
Plans include PC and console gaming, creator spaces, immersive and tabletop experiences, work areas, community programming, events, food and beverage, and other technology-driven experiences.
Will SIGNAL And The eHub Work Together?
Yes. SIGNAL is being designed as the digital layer of the broader Five Fifths ecosystem, helping people discover, organize, and participate in opportunities that may exist online, in person, or across both.
Where Will The eHub Be Located?
Five Fifths is developing the eHub for Northern New Jersey. A final public location will be announced when the site and development process are ready for public release.
Gaming & Esports
Is SIGNAL Only For Gamers?
No. Gaming is an important part of Five Fifths, but SIGNAL also supports creators, technology interests, community activities, entrepreneurship, tabletop experiences, and other forms of participation.
Do I Have To Be Competitive At Games?
No. SIGNAL is designed for different levels of experience and participation. Some activities may be competitive, while others may be casual, social, creative, collaborative, or beginner-friendly.
What Is Fifth Realm?
Fifth Realm is SIGNAL's home for campaigns, tabletop roleplaying, immersive play, and related experiences. Individual campaigns and activities can set their own participation requirements.
Can Members Host Gaming Activities?
Eligible members can create or host supported activities through the appropriate SIGNAL tools. Hosts are responsible for accurately describing the experience and following SIGNAL's participation and safety expectations.
Can Activities Be Online Or In Person?
Depending on the feature and activity, participation may be online, in person, or available in either format. The activity details should tell you how and where participation takes place.
Nonprofit & Community
What Does The Five Fifths Nonprofit Do?
The Five Fifths nonprofit supports community programming connected to areas such as gaming, creators, technology and digital literacy, entrepreneurship, media, and creative technology opportunities.
Is The Nonprofit Separate From SIGNAL?
Yes. The nonprofit is a separate organization within the broader Five Fifths ecosystem. SIGNAL can help people discover participation, but nonprofit programs and charitable activities are managed separately.
Who Can Participate In Nonprofit Programs?
Eligibility can vary by program, event, funding source, and community served. Individual opportunities should explain any specific participation requirements.
Will Community Programs Appear On SIGNAL?
Some Five Fifths community opportunities may be surfaced through SIGNAL when appropriate, alongside other Sessions, Creator Commons opportunities, Circles, campaigns, and participation options.
Where Can I Learn More About The Nonprofit?
Visit the official Five Fifths nonprofit website for current program information, organizational updates, and nonprofit-specific opportunities.

How Do I Start A Partnership Conversation?
Use the contact information provided below to introduce your organization, what you are proposing, and which part of Five Fifths you are interested in working with.
Participation & Passport
What Counts In Passport?
Passport grows through verified participation across SIGNAL. Attending a Session, completing eligible Creator Commons activity, participating in Fifth Realm, or other supported verified activity can add to your record.
Who Confirms My Participation?
The responsible host, creator, organizer, or supported verification flow confirms eligible participation. Members cannot issue themselves verified participation credit.
Do Hosts Receive Passport Credit?
Eligible hosting activity can count when the experience is completed and the participation requirements are met. Hosting credit is separate from a participant's attendance record.
Why Did A Passport Entry Change?
Passport reflects verified activity, so an entry can change if the original attendance or participation record is corrected. Corrected or revoked entries remain part of the private history for transparency but no longer count toward totals, progress, or stamps.
What Are Passport Stamps And Milestones?
Stamps and milestones recognize patterns of verified participation, such as completing your first experience, showing up repeatedly, participating across different SIGNAL spaces, or leading eligible experiences.
Profiles, Privacy & Safety
Who Can See My Profile?
Your profile visibility and discovery settings control how other members can find and view you. Your privacy, block, and mute choices continue to apply across supported SIGNAL experiences.
What Happens When I Block Or Mute Someone?
Blocking and muting are designed to give you more control over your experience. Their exact effects depend on the feature, but they are used to reduce unwanted interaction and visibility across SIGNAL.
How Do I Report Harmful Content Or Conduct?
Use SIGNAL's private safety reporting tools when something involves another member, harmful content, harassment, privacy concerns, or conduct concerns. Technical bugs should be reported through the technical support form instead.
Does SIGNAL Review Uploaded Images?
Supported image uploads can pass through moderation and review processes intended to identify content that may violate SIGNAL's safety rules before it is made available through the platform.
What Information Should I Never Send Through Support?
Do not send passwords, authentication codes, full payment information, highly sensitive personal documents, or other secrets through a support request or screenshot.
Technical Help
What Should I Include In A Technical Issue?
Tell us what you were trying to do, what you expected to happen, what happened instead, and which part of SIGNAL you were using. You can attach up to three screenshots when they help show the problem.
What Happens To Screenshots?
Screenshots are reviewed securely before they are attached to your support request. They stay private throughout that process and are only kept when they are safe and useful for troubleshooting.
What If I Cannot Sign In Or Confirm My Email?
Check that you are using the same email address associated with your SIGNAL account and use the available authentication or confirmation options. If the problem continues, report the issue with as much non-sensitive detail as possible.
Should I Use Technical Support, Feedback, Or Safety Reporting?
Use technical support when SIGNAL is not working as expected. Use feedback for ideas or product suggestions. Use the private safety reporting tools for harmful content, another member's conduct, harassment, privacy, or safety concerns.
