The Feature

Five Fifths Started Long Before SIGNAL.

It grew from years of working together, gaming together, leading teams, building community, solving problems, and seeing how often talented people were expected to fit themselves into spaces that only understood one part of who they were.

We never saw gaming, technology, creativity, business, community, or professional development as completely separate worlds. The people around us moved between all of them.

Five Fifths became our way of building around the whole person instead of one label.

How We Got Here

One Idea Kept Becoming Something Bigger.

Six chapters in a story that is still being written.

01

Before Five Fifths

Long Before The Company, There Was Just A Team

Seven, Deland, and Jee met through work more than a decade ago and spent years figuring things out side by side. Long before there was a company name, there was already a rhythm: solve the problem, keep it moving, and make sure the team could actually function.

02

The Nonprofit

With Purpose That Became The First Foundation

Five Fifths started taking shape through nonprofit work centered on technology, gaming, digital media, entrepreneurship, creative careers, and access. The mission came first. The bigger ecosystem came later.

03

Community Work

Whose Work Quickly Flourished From The Pages

Ideas are nice. Showing up matters more. The work grew into programs, events, partnerships, resource support, and sponsorships — from helping fund national trips to supporting back-to-school events and other community-centered experiences.

04

The eHub

Until The Vision Became A Destination

Eventually, the idea got too big to live only in documents and conversations. The eHub became the physical version of what we kept imagining: gaming, technology, creation, learning, entrepreneurship, events, and community all having room to exist together.

05

SIGNAL

And The Platform Became A Network For All

Then came the realization that people should not have to wait for a building to start finding one another. SIGNAL became the digital layer — a way to discover Sessions, Circles, opportunities, campaigns, and people worth showing up for without turning the whole thing into another endless feed.

06

What Comes Next

That Now Connects

At this point, the nonprofit, the eHub, SIGNAL, community programming, gaming, technology, entrepreneurship, and creative work are not separate experiments anymore. They are different parts of the same Five Fifths story — and we are still adding chapters.

The Ecosystem

In Community

The Work Was Never Meant To Stay On The Page.

We've designed Five Fifths to move beyond ideas, documents, and plans. Through the nonprofit, that has meant programs, technology access, creative and professional development, events, partnerships, and hands-on support in the community.

"It's been a lot of work, but it has also been a lot of fun. We've been laying the foundation for everything that is to come."

Signal and the eHub are an extension of our work - not a new beginning.

It's been a lot of work, but it has also been a lot of fun. We've been laying the foundation for everything that is to come.
